Pet care experience
I am a Force Free R+ Dog Trainer. I started out as dog walker/sitter through Rover. I did dog walking for a year & half and then started my career as a trainer. I went to ABC to be come a dog trainer. Still continue to learn & update my knowledge through IAABC. I am a full time dog trainer and part time dog walker. All my dog walks do include training like loose leash walking. I teach classes as well, like agility, swim, and training hikes. I also help pet owners with regular obedience, reactivity, and separation anxiety. I became a trainer because of my dog Lola. She is the reason I do what I love. I want to do the same for owners and their kiddos. To create a better bond & happy life together 🐾

I've had Amanda walk my dog on multiple occasions and she honestly really great with him. He's usually a big puller on leash but with some patience and training she provided he's gotten much better. She's willing to learn how your pet works and what they like and don't like to make them comfortable. Highly recommend.
Amanda did an outstanding job with my new puppy! She sent me photos with each visit, my little guy looked so happy playing and she really took care of him well. I wouldn't hesitate to use Amanda again - she's just amazing

I will always make sure that your kiddo is comfortable with me first before proceeding. Wether it spending a little bit more time with them. Allowing them to have some distance and allow them to approach me. Once they are comfortable I will always make sure they have water before, during and after their walks. Make sure to send you feed back through out the whole process and of course videos or photos of your kiddo during our training walks.

I always like to know if your kiddo is allergic to anything, since I bring treats on my walk. If they don't like to be touched a certain way, if they tend to dash out the door or try to normally get out of the collars or harness and normally ask more at the meet and greet.
A typical day
Normally I like to work up kiddos to fun areas depending on their personality. Normally do a training walk through out neighborhoods, parks or do some fun recall games.

Availability
I am currently a full time trainer, but have time do some part time dog walks to work on some basic cues like loose leash walking, recall, wait and focus on their daily walk.
