Pet care experience
I've spent countless hours reading, watching and learning everything there is to know about dog body language, nutrition, training and wellness in order to provide my dog Poppy with the best life possible. I'm excited to use that knowledge on caring for your pup too! I especially love enrichment activities - whether that be sniffing, shredding, brain games or learning tricks. Appropriate romping and wrestling is always monitored and encouraged :)

Amanda loves dogs and treats each dog as if it were her own. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding dog behavior and is able to individualize the care of each animal to their physical and emotional needs. She is quite dependable and we can always count on her to provide our dog with a wonderful experience. Over the years, our dog has become so close to Amanda that when our pup hears her voice or sees her, she gets happily excited! We know that Amanda volunteers for a pet rescue where she cares for dogs who may have had emotional or physical trauma in their lives. Despite this, Amanda is able to provide a very caring interaction with them. We also know that Amanda has volunteered to bring rescue dogs home from the Virgin Islands on their way to the mainland United States to find loving homes. She is just great with all the dogs and I trust her completely in caring for our pup.
Amanda is exactly who you want looking after your pets. Even before she adopted Poppy (who is now one of Lincoln's BFFs), Amanda watched Lincoln overnight, during the day, and taken him for out for walks. Amanda is always thoughtful, attentive, and clearly just enjoys spending time with Lincoln. She is responsible, communicative, and I cannot recommend her strongly enough!
Amanda is amazing with dogs! She has so much knowledge about their behavior, training techniques, and dog etiquette. Her own dog gets along great with mine and when I pick up my pup at the end of the day, she is good and tired. Amanda has a fenced in backyard too which is nice. 10/10 recommended her to others

We have a fenced-in yard and a neighborhood full of fun things to sniff and yards to pee in. I do live on the 3rd floor of an older house, so I'll only be able to care for dogs that can handle stairs.

A typical day
I love playing appropriate enrichment games with dogs. These games include "find it," sniffing activities and shredding exercises. All of these activities are monitored to make sure everyone is safe and having fun.

I'm currently working from home part-time, so your pup will be in good company between myself and my dog Poppy! Apart from a few errands each day, I'm home all day and will be able to provide love and care for your pup.
