I’ve always had an affinity for caring for animals! To me, furry friends are family members and I am excited to be able to help other pet lovers/owners out! I’ve had my Shih Tzu, Ziggy, since he was a puppy and now he is 10 years young, we have the best time together and are always interested in meeting new friends (four legged and two)!

Amanda is a compassionate and caring young lady. She has an amazing connection and love for animals, she loves dogs, she and her dog Ziggy are inseparable, she has been caring for him since middle school when she got him as a pup. She takes care of his medical, his hygiene, etc. She goes to shelters to visit, sometimes take a dog home temporarily. She occasionally dog sit her friends dogs if she has the bandwidth with her professional life. She gets upset if she see any kind of abuse. I am confident that she is competent and responsible if she has to care for pets.
I think Amanda will be a great fit for this role because she has such a love for animals. She talks about wanting to volunteer at animal shelters constantly, and she just wants to help any way she can. In the times I have gone on vacation, Amanda has offered to watch my dog without hesitation. I have never had a doubt that my dog will be taken care of when Amanda is watching her!
Amanda loves dogs so much and is a great owner! She takes really good care of Ziggy and he's always just a happy little old man. I've asked her to watch my dogs a few times and she's always been great.

As a standard I will follow whatever routine pet families prefer in regards to walking/feeding. I love to play fetch with my dog and provide all the love and cuddles a pet may need! I love long walks and will have a small fenced in back yard to allow dogs quick fresh air breaks in between walks as well!

Availability
I work from home 4 weeks at a time and am in the office for two weeks at a time. I am flexible enough to come home for 15 minute lunch walks when I’m in the office given how close I am. My weekends are usually pretty free as well!
