Hi! My name is Amanda and I have been taking care of dogs for many years. Growing up there has always been all types of dogs in my life, and about 8 years ago I started dog sitting for people around my hometown. I am a very energetic person that loves to play with dogs, but I can also provide a comfortable, safe environment for your dog to rest as well! The golden rule applies to caring for dogs; I will care for every dog the way I would want mine taken care of. I understand the love and attachment an owner can have to their puppies, and I will respect every request you ask of me while looking after your dog! I can always provide updates and pictures of your dog as well to reassure you that he or she is in perfect, safe care.

Amanda house sat our place, and watched our pup Stella for a week and a half. She was an INCREDIBLE person to work with. Stella loved her right away, and seemed like she enjoyed her time spent with Amanda. Stella has a broken jaw, a twitch and a funny tongue that hangs out all day and Amanda did not mind at all, she took Stella in like her own and really took great care of her. Amanda even washed the sheets she used and left our house cleaner than when we left it! We are planning on rebooking her soon!! She is a phenomenal person to work with :)
Amanda did a great job caring for both my dog and rabbit. They both seemed happy and healthy when I got back. In addition, the house was neat and clean and Amanda was responsive and checked in while we were away. She's great!
Amanda was a great sitter for my elderly dog Ruby! Amanda house-sat for me for a week, taking care of Ruby and staying overnight. I received updates on Ruby about every other day. I came back to a healthy, happy dog! I highly recommend Amanda.
Amanda did an amazing! Job with my cat Selene I received a picture every day! I would definitely recommend her

I am open to all breeds, small or large! Before a visit I would like to know about the dogs personality. This can include their energy level, habits, favorite activities and toys, etc. I would also like to know about their interactions with other people, dogs, and children. This information could allow me to prevent an incident from happening during the walk/stay with me. A feeding schedule, health requirements, and emergency contacts would also be important for me to have as well!
A typical day
Living in Brighton, there are many parks to go to for dogs to play. One of my favorites is Rogers Park off of Lake Street, where a large field is provided for dogs to play and socialize. I also have a back yard that is fitting for dogs as well.
