Safety, trust & environment

Please note we host pets who are crate trained due to our households children age (toys, soft items etc in reach) in a small quaint home and a special needs resident pooch. I have a large fenced in backyard and 11 acre horse farm property for private off road walks. We have a friendly tripod female dog that gets along well with other dogs and one cat that is grumpy and keeps to themselves when unbothered. I have multiple crate options as well as a gated mud room area. Our dog is crate trained, but also allowed to roam, be on furniture and snuggle in bed. We have a pet friendly family, and young children who are taught to respect animals space and boundaries. Meet and greets are necessary due to our pooch being special needs and for their safety requires pets who do not play rough (she is missing a hind leg and being tackled is dangerous to her well being and quality of life) We appreciate prospective clients respecting the necessary requirements for our household safety (which includes crate trained animals and calm play styles)

Information Amanda S. would like to know about your pet

We seek to find out a dogs crate trained status, house trained habits, dietary habits, any special needs and play style. Also inquire about loud noises and storms, as our location is rural and we encounter booms of all kinds. Storms can be strong here. Additionally you must know their status with cats and young children, if unknown we would encourage to find a candidate without cats and/or young children. Owners must be able to provide the vet whom your pet routinely visits. Honesty is all we ask. We have senior and special needs pets as well has young children and farm animals. Safety and proper fit are of upmost importance for all parties.

A typical day

We have a large fenced area and walking trails in the property. Farm animals present (horses and chickens) Water play can be made available by request.
