Pet care experience
I’ve had pets ever since I can remember. Starting with five cats which were family pets, a guinea pig and bird which were my own and a well loved family dog! I have my own cat now and she’s the light of my life! I’ve seen my pets through thick and thin and have been caring for them since I was 4 years old. I love meeting new pets and spending time with them, I’ve been known to sprint down the street to pet a dog that catches my eye! I assure you I’ll be just as enamoured with your pet! I love walks, dog parks and chill days at home for the dog that is injured or elderly. My dogs always went for at least one big hike a day so I understand the need for an active lifestyle.

I've known Amanda for several years and I can confidently say that she is a kind, caring and responsible person with a positive energy and most important of all is an avid dog lover. Amanda also has a dog of her own so she has lots of experience caring for them which is why she was the first person I thought of to ask to take care of my dog Gunther when I went on a trip to Mexico a couple months ago. She gave me frequent updates on Gunther which was important to me, followed through with all her responsibilities and genuinely enjoyed her time with him which was nice to hear. Amanda is very friendly and approachable and easy to communicate with which is why I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter!
Amanda loves animals especially dogs, she is competent & confident. She has the energy to walk, run or play with my dog. Mo loves her, I would leave her with him anytime

How long of a walk they usually get and what some of their favourite toys and games are! Of course, any of their quirks or triggers are also vital to know!
A typical day
I enjoy hiking so if your dog is very active I can easily keep them entertained. I’m also happy to just go for a walk around the neighborhood or play a game of fetch! I play with my cat for at least an hour every day because she’s a bundle of energy and I’m excited to do the same for other peoples pets!

I’m a student whose classes are online so my schedule is very flexible! I love to get outdoors and be active so why not take your pet along with me!
