Hello! My name is Amanda, and I live in the beautiful Presidio Heights neighborhood in San Francisco. Dogs have been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember and I have experience with a variety of breeds, from the most high-energy Heeler mix, to a Shih-Tzu senior citizen, to the drooliest mass of St. Bernard (the giant ones are my favorite, by the way!). I know that for those of us who really love our dogs, they're not just pets-- they're members of the family. I'm looking forward to meeting your pup and giving them attention and love.

I live with my husband in a studio apartment on a quiet street with access to a fenced backyard (see photo-- it's like a jungle back there with plenty of smells for pups to explore!). We both work from home and there are no children or pets in the home. We're less than 10 minutes from the Presidio and have a medium-sized dog crate available here for use.

Any info about your dog's temperament would be great. I have experience with reactive dogs, and if this is the case with your pet it's easy for us to avoid the big scary world altogether by focusing on enjoying our small backyard and having fun indoors.
A typical day
I love canine enrichment and can give your dog plenty of mental stimulation throughout the day, whether it be frozen peanut butter on a licki mat, slow feedings, or other enrichment games.

Availability
My husband and I both work from home, so are at our apartment all day to give your dog or cat plenty of attention, snuggles, and care. I know how important it is to know our pets are doing okay without us, so I can send plenty of photos, videos, and other updates to keep you updated throughout their stay.
