Pet care experience
Our pets are our family! And we all deserve that peace of mind that they will be treated with the love and care we ourselves give them when we are away. That is a promise I keep! A little background on myself: I am a native Atlantan. I grew up in the Doraville/Chamblee area and I haven't yet found a city I love as much. My professional experience includes working as a kennel tech and then moving to front desk receptionist and most recently I was an Animal Caretaker/Adoption Counselor and now I work as an Animal Control Officer. I am comfortable and enjoy working with all types and ages of cats (grumpies included!) and all sizes and breeds and ages of dogs.
Reviews
Amanda was great!! Very responsive, sent me lots of pictures, and we returned to a house cleaner than we left it. My dog and Amanda seemed to absolutely love each other. We will definitely be using her again!
I’ve known Amanda for many years. She has loved animals her whole life and always had pets in her home. She’s watched my dog on several occasions and I trust her completely to give the utmost care and attention to him. She is definitely someone you can trust to love and care for your pet just as if it were her own!

I believe it is important to have as few changes as possible to your pet's day to day routine while you are away, which helps to minimize any separation anxiety and stress. If your dog enjoys walks, simply let me know their activity level and a preference, if any, of the location ( if you prefer we stay close by your neighborhood or if there is a local park you frequent) I particularly enjoy getting a Puppiccino and playing fetch or being a couch potato on rainy days. I prefer not to go to dog parks mainly for the safety for all involved. i will always keep your pet on a leash and with as little interaction with unfamiliar dogs as possible
Information Amanda R. would like to know about your pet
The basic things I need to know about your pet: age, health (including medications, diet restrictions/food allergies or injuries), activity level (for dogs, if we are going for walks). I would like to know if your dog has separation anxiety, if he/she is crate/ house trained, or if your pet is food/dog/people reactive. And the general personality of your pet and their likes/dislikes will help make our time together that much more comforting. Any other helpful information you would like to share would be appreciated

We can do a quick 15-30 minute walk, or for more active dogs sometimes a longer trip to a walk in the park is best. I prefer not to go to dog parks, mainly for the safety for all involved.
