Pet care experience
I have loved and cared for many different dogs of many different breeds, ages, and personalities throughout my lifetime. I am pet cpr certified, have experience with administering medication, shy and/ or “aggressive” breeds.

Amanda loves dogs. She gives extra care and attention to them and is a true animal lover. She watched my black lab Champ while I was out of town for work and did a fantastic job! She sent me plenty of pictures, gave him lots of exercise and love, and treated him as her own. Her dog Lotus loves other dogs and is very sweet. I would highly recommend Amanda for everyone. I will definitely use her services again!

I have a large back yard partially fenced in, bordering an ally away from traffic. I am active and love to include my (and hopefully your) dog in walks runs and playtime. I have a beautiful dog park two miles away full of very friendly and energetic fur friends!

I would like to know the dogs level of socialization with other dogs and people, the dogs type and time of meals, and the dogs favorite toys and activities. I would also like to know of any allergies or activity/ food intolerances.
A typical day
I believe there are lots of great ways to engage and exercise a dog while also ensuring safety and fun! Basic walks around my neighborhood, time at the community dog park, and fetch are a few simple and effective ways. A few creative activities the dogs and I enjoy are short, scenic car rides, watching movies while snacking, and finger/ paw painting for our families!

Availability
I am currently a nursing student, with classes in the morning / early afternoon 2 -3 days a week (changing per semester). Moreover, I am a home-care nurse aid part-time, with shifts consisting of 2-4 hours per patient, 1-2 patients a day. This allows extra range and flexibility in my schedule because often there are large gaps between patients, giving me time to stop home for walks, feeding and greeting. This also ensures that I am never gone from home for more than at most 4 hours any given day.
