Pet care experience
I have had a dog since I was in second grade - she is a German Shepard, so I have cared for a large dog for most of my life. I have helped take her out, clean her, feed her, and play with her. She was very old, so I was extra careful when walking and watching her. I gave her her pills, and gave her treats. I would pet her in my free time. I am currently looking for a new job, so I have a lot of free time in my schedule to be around pets! I would love to keep busy and be around animals in the free time that I have. When I watch dogs in other people's homes, I make sure that I know what equipment and materials are needed for the dog. I am respectful of others' homes.

Amanda was very caring to our dog and sent pictures daily. She was also responsive when we had questions about how our dog was doing while we were away.

A typical day
I love to go on long walks with dogs, as well as play with them with their favorite toys. I also enjoy relaxing with them and petting them as much as they want.

Availability
I’m currently working part-time, so I have enough free time where I can take care of pets! It keeps my schedule busy and gives me something to do. If I had a full-time job, I probably wouldn’t be able to take care of pets at all, so I’m thankful I have the chance to.
