Happy to pup-sit while you’re away
Pet care experience
I’ve been a dog lover my whole life-I’ve been through basic training with several dogs and trained the rest on my own. I’ve helped dogs through the senior stages of their life as well- I’ve been with my own dogs from birth until crossing the rainbow bridge and every step in between.
Reviews
Amanda was very easy to work with and my dog had a great time. She sent me daily updates and photos. I would recommend her.
Amanda is amazing with all pets! She is kind and caring and I know my dog feels loved when he is with her. She takes him on awesome walks and hikes and even to the beach. She can handle strong dogs too! She can even help with training. My dog loves spending time with Amanda and her dog Zeus!
Amanda is very responsible. caring, and lovable person. She would take care of your pets as if they were her own. I would trust her with my pets as I did with my grandson as his third grade teacher
Amanda loves dogs! She takes excellent care of them and does so much for them to ensure their happiness and good health. She has a beautiful Golden Retriever she takes hiking, to the beach, and for walks. She has watched my new dog and she is so good with her. I recommend Amanda highly to be a dog sitter as I know from my experience you will be pleased with the love and care she gives to all animals. Carol R.

I have a guest room for dogs at home, and there’s a dog park on premise, as well as plenty of small grass areas for potty breaks. We’re near several trails, the beach and plenty of other hiking areas. We spent a lot of time outdoors on walks or hikes or at the beach. I can create your dog per your request; I have an extra large crate on hand if needed. However I’m happy to have them sleep on the couch as well. I do require all pets who visit to be fully updated on all vaccines and current on flea medication.

Any sensitivities to food or noises, any medication, feeding schedule, health concerns erns, favorite toys sleep routine, What their favorite playtime activities are. Vet records, and last time flea medication was given. And any triggers they have such as food Or a toy possessiveness.
A typical day
We’ll tart out the morning with a bathroom break and a short morning walk before breakfast. We’ll have some breakfast and a little downtime during the morning then a midday walk usually a mile or two depending on your pup. We’ll do lunch if your dog eats lunch. Have a little downtime and then we usually go for an adventure of some sort after lunch either the beach the dog park or just a long walk locally , Again depending on your dogs needs and abilities. In the evening we’ll have some downtime and then dinner. Play with some toys and then we usually go for one last short little walk around the neighborhood in the evening. We’ll do one or two more potty breaks before bedtime. Depending on how and where your dog usually sleeps we’ll either do crate or couch with some snuggles and scratches before bed.

I’m off work for the summer and have plenty of time time to care for your pets while you’re away. I do require proof of updated vaccination records and for pets to be on flea medication. We spent a lot of time outdoors on walks or hikes or at the beach.
