Pet care experience
I started my pet sitting business in NYC in 2010, where I cared for over 20 clients in the 4 years I was there - traveling to various boroughs, specializing in overnight stays and dog walking. Since then, I’ve brought my pet sitting skills along to each state I’ve lived in, spanning from Indiana (where I started my Rover partnership) to Philly, where I cared for over 40 pets all over the city. In 2018, I moved to Vegas for work and put my pet sitting endeavors on hold to focus on my career. Now that I’ve had time to establish a home base here, I’m looking to offer my services on a part-time basis. I have 6 kittos of my own, and a couple visitors from the neighborhood I like to keep an eye on :) I do not offer services at my home, but I’ll be happy to travel to yours! I have experience administering oral medication as well as fluid. If your pet is taking something I’m not familiar with, I will let you know so that we can go over the proper care before our first visit. I work from home during the weekdays, so I’m currently only available for weekend visits and overnight stays. If your needs fall on a weekday, I do have some flexibility as long as you have a strong and secure wifi connection :) I am very detail-oriented and want to make sure that your pet is safe and comfortable. I will always do my best to follow your usual routine so that your pet can feel right at home with me. I ask a lot of questions, and prefer to have a written copy of your pets routine so that nothing is left out while you’re away.

Amanda was more than we could’ve hoped for and now know why she has excellent reviews. Our pup has never been away from us and we were a bit nervous leaving someone with her for several hours, but Amanda bonded with our pup quickly! She sent pictures throughout the evening and kept us posted on how they were doing. I was very happy, and our pup was treated very well. I would not hesitate requesting Amanda again. Courteous, prompt, very good communication throughout. Could not have asked for a better person to have stay with our pup!
Amanda was wonderful with our 6 year old dog Cooper! It takes him a minute to warm up and she was very patient and understanding. She sent multiple pictures throughout her stay and we loved knowing he was happy and well looked after.
Amanda was great with Agnes! She took many photos and kept me updated throughout the day. She took awesome care of the floof and we absolutely would book her again!
Amanda pulled through for me super last minute and she was awesome! I was able to meet her same day and she was able to coordinate with our usual sitter to help cover. She was incredibly professional and we came home to a happy cat and a sleepy dog. I will absolutely book her again. Thank you Amanda!

Many questions can be answered at a Meet & Greet, but I will mainly want to know your pets age, training/commands, if they’re up to date on shots, medications, things that make them nervous, what motivates them... all the basics! No breed preferences; big or small, furry or bald! Some Past Experiences: One of my most trying experiences as a dog sitter was dog sitting for a client when Hurricane Sandy hit NYC. I was staying at the clients' apartment without power for the week they were in Hong Kong. We adjusted pretty quickly to going for walks by flashlight and eating dinner together surrounded by candles - it was a pretty unique experience to say the least, but we were both very happy when the power came back on :) I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs Two of my favorite NYC clients were two elderly pugs, one deaf and one deaf and blind. They were the sweetest pups! And although Lula couldn't see, she knew the block like the back of her paw and could guide me home no matter which direction we started our walk.
A typical day
When you book me for an overnight stay, your pet has my full attention. That includes 3 walks, 2 feedings (unless otherwise needed), and lots of play time! For day visits, I can come by twice a day and feed and walk your dog. If you need more than 2 visits, I highly recommend booking my services for an overnight stay, it will be easier for me and your pet! For dog walking, I prefer 30 minutes with your dog, understanding that elderly dogs can't walk that long, so the remaining time will be spent giving your pooch some love! Cat visits include a 20 minute play session in addition to feeding and litter scooping. Have a different kind of pet? No worries! I’ve taken care of fish, hedgehogs, turtles, chickens, pigs, and beyond! I’ll be happy to chat if you require additional pet services. Extra Fee Services: - Dog Bath/Brush - Yard Clean Up (other than at the time of stay)

Availability
Your pets are my main priority and I do my best to give them all the attention they need so they feel at ease while you’re away. There’s no reason your pets can’t live their best life while you’re away. After all, it’s their staycation 🙂 If you do need my services during the week, please keep in mind that I do have a full-time job for the first part of the day. Thankfully, I work remotely for a very pet friendly company so I’ll be happy to discuss how my work schedule can work with your pet’s.
