We will love and pamper your dogs!

Pet care experience

We would love open our happy home to your friendly dogs while you are out of town! Our home has a grassy, fenced-in backyard that your pup will love to romp around in. I also often go on runs and long walks and love to have a canine companion! We do not have a dog of our own but we have a sweet, social cat named Pumpkin. She can be separated in the bedroom if your dogs are tempted to chase- no problem! The cost is $35/day which is very reasonable, plus, with us, your pooch will get oodles of attention, exercise, care, and most importantly, love! Just don't be hurt if he/she doesn't want to leave when you come back from your trip. He/She will get spoiled over here! Amanda goes to work during the week and Ohmarx to school certain weekdays, so your dog will need to be OK left alone for about 8 hrs at a maximum for a few days during the week. Send us a Meet 'n Greet request if you're interested in seeing our space and meeting us in person- we'd be happy to have you! *No Pit Bulls or Pit mixes, please and thank you! About this sitter: Huge dog lover! Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog-lover all of my life! I grew up with a sweet yellow lab mix named Buddy. She (yes Buddy was a girl) was my best friend! Now as an adult, my husband and I aren't able to have our own dog for the time-being, so caring for other people's dogs is our fix! It's so much fun to have all different breeds, sizes, personalities, coming through. We love it! Meet my pets We have one curious cat named Pumpkin. If any of our doggy-guests are not so friendly with cats, the cat can be separated in our bedroom where the dogs don't go. It's no problem! About my yard We have a medium-sized fenced-in backyard with grass and trees and shrubs that provide shade. The dogs love it! Take a look at our photos of the dogs chillin' out in the backyard. My experience administering medication yes, I have experience administrating oral and injection medications. I care for a dog with diabetes who requires insulin injections at with every meal. Easy peasy!

My wife and I are very pleased with the home Amanda provided for Max while we traveled. She kept us up-to-date with numerous photos and videos, which were most appreciated. We plan on using her again very soon!

We have used Amanda 2 times now and will definitely use her again! We have no worries when we leave our large, high energy dog with Amanda, because we know she's safe, exercised and well cared for. Amanda sends plenty of video and picture updates as well, which puts your mind at ease. Thanks Amanda!!

Information Amanda P. would like to know about your pet

How friendly is the dog towards adults, children, cats, and other dogs? Has there ever been any aggression issues? Does the dog take any medication? Is your dog healthy enough to go jogging with me (as long as the temperature isn't too scorching hot out)? Tell me anything and everything else I should know!

A typical day

Here's where we'll take our walks The dogs get walked every day, either around our neighborhood (quiet, residential area) or often times we will jump in the car and drive five minutes away to Lilburn Park to go for a walk/job on the Greenway Trail there. Lots of exercise makes for a tired but happy dog at the end of the day! Your dog's sleeping arrangement Normally the dogs sleep in the living room. If the owner brings a dog bed, we put it on the living room floor. Many a times we have woken up in the morning and come out of the bedroom to find a very happy dog enjoying a nice dream on the living room couch instead of the doggy bed! :0) Which is really OK. Time I'll spend with your dog After I get home from my average 8 hrs work day, I take the dogs on a nice walk either around my neighborhood or in our local park, and then we chill out together in the house! They are like part of the family. On weekends I take the dogs on longer excursions, often to the greenway trail for a run if they are up for it! The dogs get tons of loving attention and exercise.
