Pet care experience
I have had pets my entire life and absolutely love dogs and cats. I know pets are part of the family and treat each baby as if they were my own. I always include photos and details of our time together as I know how hard it is to be away from them. In addition to basic pet care, I am also knowledgeable in basic training commands (sit, lay down, high five, etc) and have experience caring for elderly pets.

Amanda took great care of our girl all day! Her pup teddy is so sweet and they played around in the back yard during her visit. Amanda sent lots of updates with cute pictures of the pups and listened carefully to our instructions. We knew our girl was in good hands. We came back to a very happy dog! Thank you Amanda!

Amanda went above and beyond when watching Poppy! She not only administered Poppy's medications, but also drove to our vet to pick up a new prescription. I'm grateful to Amanda for taking such good care.

I have a fenced in yard and my office is right by the back door, so I usually have furry friends spend time with me during the workday either cuddling up with me while I work and playing in the backyard (weather permitting). If I am caring for pets in your home, I handle the biological needs of your pet first (potty, feeding, litter box, etc) after a quick greeting and then I like to spend time with your pet on their own terms. Some pets like cuddles and playtime and others want a little space, so I will patiently sit with them (I'm lookin at you, cats!)

A typical day

I work from home Wednesday-Friday (sometimes more often), so I am always happy for some furry friends to join me! I am a homebody, so I am available most weekends as well.
