Pet care experience
Ever since I was young I've always had a household full of dogs. From a young energetic Jack Russell to a young-at-heart Shih Tzu, taking care of them was a full time job! I just recently graduated from UW-LAX and am now employed full-time: As of June 2021 I will only be available for weekend pet-sitting or evening drop-ins/walks. Nevertheless, I will take precious care and love your dogs (and other animals, furry or not!) as if they were my own!

Love it! And Amanda does a great job keeping me up to date and my dogs are loving her! I love that they get attention during the day when I can’t give it to them.
Amanda was great with our pit bull mix, Vita, and our cat, Masha! She was communicative with us throughout our trip, and the photos were a great bonus to the excellent care provided. I’d highly recommend booking with her if you’re looking for someone that will provide thoughtful care for your pets!
I was nervous finding someone new to watch my dog as he can be anxious and somewhat stubborn when I leave on trips, but Amanda did a fantastic job! She kept me updated throughout the day when she would visit, including pictures of him out and about (and not hiding under the bed)! I also appreciate that she went above the minimum to take him out for longer walks, a trip to the dog park, and other outings. In addition, she was flexible with times to meet with me and Max before the trip, in addition to my return time from my trip. I would highly recommend her and am looking forward to having her sit for Max again in the future.
I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my baby Lulu (13 years old!) so going on vacation can be stressful. Amanda was awesome! She knew that Lulu is very set in her ways when it comes to eating, being let out or going for walks. Amanda is sweet and very responsible. We came back to a very happy dog ?

I love taking pictures of all the furry friends I meet during my visits - Expect thorough report cards! I am very patient yet adaptable walking dogs around their neighborhoods, we will walk their speed and certainly won't rush potty breaks!

What are some common behaviors your pet experiences when you are away (eats less, pottys more, stress chewing, etc) are all nice things to be aware of during meet and greets. Also how well your pets gets along with other pets or strangers to prepare for walks and interactions accordingly
A typical day
I enjoy playing with pets indoors and outdoors, weather permitting of course. I also live near the Houska Dog Park and am more than happy to bring your dog there to play and socialize during drop-ins!
