I grew up with dogs (and birds, turtles, lizards, and fish!). Dogs are a gift to us! I’m also absolutely in love with cats. I know how much your precious pet mean to you, and you can trust me to take good care of them. 🐶❤️ For the last two years I’ve been professionally walking dogs. I own a a travel agency as well, so I’m able to make my own hours and spend afternoons walking dogs. I love to see all of my clients dogs get excited to see me when I arrive! It absolutely makes my day. My visits include: Lots of love, belly rubs if they so choose, and pets. I clean and refill their water bowl, then off we go! I love to talk to them and get them excited about their walk! I will send a text update with photos after each visit. I love to take pictures, so I do try to get good photos whenever I can. I’ve taken many “FetchFind” pet care education courses such as Canine Health & Wellness, Canine Behavior & Communication, Bite Prevention, Feline Fundamentals, and more. I’ve also had e-collar training for heeling, if your pup uses it. I always have a double hold on the leash for added security. I also cross the street whenever I see another dog on a walk, just in case. I’ve had quite a few loose dogs run up to me on walks, so it’s also imperative to stay observant of my surroundings. One thing I’ve been trained to look for to help in these situations is an empty fenced in yard. If a loose and potentially aggressive dog is running at us and I have time, I find the nearest empty fenced in yard to protect my clients dog. I’ve personally had to do this a handful of times. I also have no problem at all yelling very loudly at an off-leash dog coming near us if they seem aggressive, or if your dog is reactive to other dogs.
