I've had dogs my entire life and enjoy working with them and training them - my pups are currently in agility and scent work (they've completed obedience). Dogs are a part of my family and are treated to a first-class, doggy experience I work from home (did so even before Covid) and am self-employed so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule. My own dogs believe I'm home just so I can let them in and out and out and in. I do leave to do things, but am rarely gone for more than a few hours (if I would be while boarding, that would be disclosed). I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs - one male and one female. Your dog(s) must be crate-trained and not completely obsessed with birds - I have four parakeets (but have managed to work with several bird dogs on leaving the indoor birds alone - but huge obsessions could be problematic).
