Pet care experience
I've had pets since I was young and have dealt with puppies and kittens through to their elderly years. Currently I care for an elderly 75lb malamute husky mix that has been with me for 11 loving years and 2 middle aged cats. I'm experienced in bathing and grooming and walking bigger breeds and I have done some kennel work when I lived in Covington. Whenever my friends go out of town I am the first one they ask to do daily check ins on their cats where I go by instructions given, clean any messes, refresh water and feed, scoop and discard litter, give them loving attention, properly lock up after finishing. Proper care and safety are my top priority. Your fur baby will be safe in my company!

Amanda has helped me over the years with all of my fur babies and other animal babies. She is such a wonderful caregiver to all animals. She is kind and patient and has so much love to give. Even more, she is so knowledgeable about pet care. She has helped me find better pet food for my animals, helped with nailcare, suggested better litter options, and offered such helpful advise when my animals have any ailments. She has watched over my animals many times while I was out of town and she spoils them rotten while I am away. I know they are well taken care of when she is with them.
I've known Amanda for 8 years now and she has always been the biggest animal lover I know, from dogs and cats to reptiles and spiders. Amanda's got a kind soul that animals can sense and she just has a knack for animal care. Over the years she's taken care of my animals for me whenever I've needed her. She's a trustworthy and honest person with a lifetime of animal experience and anyone who books her for pet care will not be disappointed!
Amanda has been an animal lover for as long as I have known her. She currently has two spiders, two lizards, two cats, and a dog. Each on of them is provided for exceptionally well. Rockzo (the dog) is a senior dog and over the last year has had many medical issues due to his age. Amanda has been nothing more than a loving mother to him. He has stomach issues, recent seizures, and a torn ACL, and she has been nothing but amazing with him. From walking him, making him specialty food, remembering his medication, she is always on top of it. I couldn't recommend Amanda enough to watch anyone's pet. She has the skills and the love of animals to be anyone's perfect pet caregiver.

He is on a strict medication schedule for seizures and I monitor his arthritis pain to make sure he doesn't over do anything and help him of needed and to give him antiinflammatories if needed. Any kind of health issues I take very seriously and will monitor them 100%. I do not offer care in my home due to one of my cats not being friendly to dogs he doesn't know.
Information Amanda P. would like to know about your pet
While walking your pet I would like to know of any health issues to look out for or stressful triggers they may have with being out in public. I don't allow people I don't know to pet my dog while walking due to him getting over excited and hurting himself, if you are the same way I can guarantee no one but me will be allowed to touch them while out on our walk.
A typical day
Stimulating your pet while we are on a walk or while I'm visiting is important to me. On walks I like to give dogs a chance to sniff wherever they like and take their time to explore while also keeping a close watch on the surroundings for potential hazards. I prefer to do walks away from the road ways. Parks and apartment complexes with greenery are what I'm use to providing for a nice potty break for pups.
