Growing up in an animal-loving house, I have always been around dogs and cats. Having owned a Yellow Lab/Hound mix, a Wheaten Terrier mix, and a Ridgeback mix (all of which were rescues), I am comfortable with all types of dogs and their unique personalities and energy levels. I am available for care and walks on weekday evenings and any time on weekends. Since I have been old enough to handle dogs on my own, I have done dog sitting for local neighborhood dogs ranging from Sussex Spaniels to Doberman mixes. And, as a recent puppy owner, I'm used to dealing with the different collars, harnesses, and leashes needed to keep high-energy, exuberant pups on their best behavior! As a young professional in Chicago, I'm hoping to be able to continue spending lots of time with furry friends even though I can't yet own one myself. Please note that I do have a full-time office job, so I am often busy during business hours on weekdays. However, I do work in a dog-friendly office, and am able to bring a dog with me so long as he/she is well-socialized, on the calmer side, and the owner is comfortable with it. Happy to do overnight dogsitting stays in West Loop, River North, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Lakeview, and Wrigley.
