Pet care experience
I'm the type to fawn over every dog I see passing by, and will be more than excited to adapt to your dogs needs and make sure they have as good of a time as I do watching and playing with them! I have been dogsitting for friends for years and have been on Rover regularly dogsitting for three years now and have watched all types of dogs. It has been something I do less for money and more simply because I love spending time with dogs. My partner and I work from home with very flexible hours, so it's very easy for me to adapt and adjust to your pet's schedule while I work, so that I can still give them all of my attention! In my home I make sure they have their needs met and know what they're used to and their schedule so that they can acclimate accordingly! In your home I try to keep them to their usual routines and to be a respectful guest. Plus plenty of cuddles and playtime!

Amanda was very accommodating with sending updates and pictures, which helped us feel at ease while we were out of town! We really appreciated her flexibility with drop off and pick up times. We also felt reassured that we could be transparent with Amanda about Rem’s needs. Definitely hope Rem could stay with her the next time around :-)

Amanda was amazing and my cat loved her! I was especially appreciative because my booking was last minute over Thanksgiving weekend, but she was super flexible and able to make sure my cat had some company while we were gone :)

A typical day
I love to pet and cuddle pups and give them all of the scratches they want! My sister makes rope toys for dogs, and I'm happy to play some tug of war or fetch with them. I am always happy to go for walks, from short to very long, and depending on how the dogs do with other dogs love to take them to the local parks.

Availability
I currently work part time and from home as a reporter, so I will have plenty of flexibility for dog care. I also live with my boyfriend who works from home and loves dogs too, making it easy for your dog to get plenty of love and attention!
