SCHEDULE I work full-time Monday through Friday. When house sitting, your place will be the home base. I can work from your home if you have 5 GHz Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection I can use to run my programs, and a desk or counter space that I could set up my monitors. If that isn’t doable, I’d be happy to commute to and from the office and would be at your place right before and right after work to continue care.

LET’S GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER I’d like to know the typical physical and mental state of you dog, including energy level, any tendencies/reluctances with people or other dogs, which words/gestures they respond to, and any special needs or disabilities they might have. I’d also like to get an idea of your preferred communication style and frequency - some people prefer frequent photos and updates, whereas others prefer more intermittent summaries and photo batches.

A DAY IN THE LIFE We’d greet each other in the morning and go through our morning routines to set the tone for the day. I’d it’s a workday, when I get back, we can explore outside, have dinner, relax and play!

ABOUT ME I grew up by the side of dogs and cats, first with an almost sibling-like kinship, and later developing a more profound passion for the care and happiness of animals. I’ve always appreciated the animals in my life being there through it all, and reminding me of the simple joys every day has to offer. I’ve taken care of dogs of all sizes, ages, abilities and anxiety levels and can also aid in training reinforcement, if that's something you're working on. I can be very patient or very playful depending on what is needed. I’m also comfortable caring for cats or any other non-K9 pets you might have. I can administer necessary medication and aid pets with accessibility restrictions.

Amanda was amazing! We booked her last minute due to an emergency and she was so kind and understanding. She took amazing care of the dogs and the house and was very communicative. We look forward to working with her again in the future!
Amanda was amazing with the pups and also kept me informed and entertained with stories and photos. It felt good to know someone else was as obsessed with my dogs wellbeing as I am. 😂
Amanda and Donovan were extremely accommodating for our anxious dog. I would book them for any future drop-in visits without hesitation!
Amanda did an amazing job taking care of our two dogs. She gave us consistent updates with great photos of both dogs and how they were doing. In addition, the house was left immaculate. We look forward to having Amanda take care of our dogs again.
