Hi there! Nice to e-meet you :) My name is Amanda and I am a remote worker with a flexible schedule and love for all animals. I love taking pups on field trips for long hikes and new sniffs! I have my backseat dog hammock and doggie seat belts ready to go at all times. My flexible schedule allows for quick drop-ins or last minute walks. I have a regular dog walking client here in Reno. You’ll also find me helping out with “Dog Dates” and fostering for the Nevada Humane Society every chance I get! I grew up with rescues— a Samoyed, a German Shepherd, and a Supermutt, and am a certified cat lover too. I understand how important animals are in our lives. I am dedicated to making my experience with your pet fun, friendly, and caring… and most of all, to treat them like they are my own. We are currently renters and do not have our own pets, so I will give all my love to your furry friends! I love to keep owners informed with detailed updates and pictures- I know it's hard to be away from your animals and trust them with someone new, so I will bring you along for the ride!

Amanda was super responsible and took great care of my older dog as well as my teenage dog.
I'm almost hesitant to say how fantastic Amanda is, because I want her to always be available for my dogs :) She is a great communicator, sent picture updates of my girls, and stayed longer than she had to. We're already booking our next appointment with her!

While I cannot board your pet in my own home due to being in a rental, I will treat your home like my own. Please let me know of your house rules for your pets, and I will enforce them. I will also work to keep to the routine you have with your pets in place. Routine is important for our animals, especially when we are gone!

A typical day
Walks, hikes, and anything/everything outdoors! If you have a yard, I'd love to bring over a soccer ball to kick around with your pup. If you are interested in me taking your dog outside of your neighborhood, I love the many nearby trails (Caughlin, Steamboat Ditch, Hidden Valley, Bartley Ranch, etc) for a stimulating, on-leash experience for your pup.

With my work schedule, my flexibility varies. I keep my calendar up to date for available days— we can chat specific timing together. On Fridays I am typically more flexible. Just let me know what you’re thinking and we will see if we can work it out!
