Pet care experience
After spending years working in an office I decided to follow my dream of working with animals. I am a mature woman who has a natural affinity with dogs and I adore spending time walking and pet sitting. I am used to looking after large breeds i.e. Doberman, Dalmatian, Greyhound and Labradors, and I welcome clients of all sizes.

Amanda is an amazing lady , she is reliable and extremely accommodating, six months ago we were lucky enough to be introduced to Amanda and we have never looked back she has been fantastic with our dog who loves it when she comes to walk him . We were let down at the last minute and Amanda stepped in and helped us out and a couple of weeks ago she came to the rescue again when we needed her at the last minute to house sit our dog. We are truly blessed to have her as our dog walker
Amanda is fantastic! Ceaser absolutely adores Amanda like his second Mum! Amanda is always on time, very consistent and saves the day last minute when needed. She treats Ceaser like her own dog and being a Doberman who is highly demanding nothing is ever too much for Amanda. She plays with him, gives him plenty of walks treats and cuddles, Ceaser loves having her around. Thank you for everything Amanda I will be recommending you to everyone! Cheree
I’ve booked Amanda a a pet caregiver several times now… I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone who’s looking for pet care I’ve found her to be both professional and caring… She’s reliable and sends regular updates (including pics!) of my pets … Very reasonable rates too…

I love to take my dogs walking in the countryside surrounding Gravesend. Cliffe Pools, Shorne Country Park, Camer Park, Southern Valley Golf Course and surrounding fields. If I am pet sitting in your home, I'll take the dog out with me on walks with other dogs, if appropriate. At home I would play with the dog using its given toys. Also lots of cuddles and stroking on the sofa. If I am walking a dog alone I may bring along a ball and thrower. I tend not to do this when walking a pack of dogs as it can create unnecessary aggravation.

I am working full time to grow my business walking dogs and pet visits to cats or dogs. I generally have two/three jobs per day which I hope will increase over time. I do not have a dog of my own, I have two older cats at the moment and I couldn't bring a dog into the environment at this stage in their lives. I also have a husband who is not comfortable around dogs. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pig, birds, fish etc. my parents loved animals which influenced me growing up. I owned my own dog as a young adult but commuting to London made it unfair to my beloved Jasper a standard Yorkshire Terrier. Luckily mum and dad took him in so he remained part of the family.
