Hi! My name is Amanda and I am a recent grad of Champlain College. I work full-time at a marketing firm in Winooski and dog sit as frequently as I can! I've been running a thriving dog sitting side-hustle/passion since 2017 through my local network and word-of-mouth referrals. I've been a lifelong dog lover. I grew up with a Beagle named Jenny and since she passed away in 2015, I have been been getting my dog fix working as a dog daycare professional, pet sitter, shelter volunteer, and self-proclaimed dog whisperer in my pet-friendly office. Prior to my current position, I worked full-time at a local dog daycare for about 2 years where I gained a great deal of experience caring for, grooming, bathing, feeding, administering medicine exercising, and monitoring the behavior of all types of breeds, sizes and temperaments. I especially have a soft spot for elderly dogs and dogs with wrinkles. In my spare time, I love to volunteer as a dog walker at All Breed Rescue, a local dog shelter. I am lucky to have a very flexible work schedule that enables me to offer caretaking services that can accommodate most dogs, so I have ample availability to provide overnights, drop-ins, and walks.
