Looking for dogs to love/hang with

Pet care experience

Hi! My name is Amanda and I am a recent grad of Champlain College. I work full-time at a marketing firm in Winooski and dog sit as frequently as I can! I've been running a thriving dog sitting side-hustle/passion since 2017 through my local network and word-of-mouth referrals. I've been a lifelong dog lover. I grew up with a Beagle named Jenny and since she passed away in 2015, I have been been getting my dog fix working as a dog daycare professional, pet sitter, shelter volunteer, and self-proclaimed dog whisperer in my pet-friendly office. Prior to my current position, I worked full-time at a local dog daycare for about 2 years where I gained a great deal of experience caring for, grooming, bathing, feeding, administering medicine exercising, and monitoring the behavior of all types of breeds, sizes and temperaments. I especially have a soft spot for elderly dogs and dogs with wrinkles. In my spare time, I love to volunteer as a dog walker at All Breed Rescue, a local dog shelter. I am lucky to have a very flexible work schedule that enables me to offer caretaking services that can accommodate most dogs, so I have ample availability to provide overnights, drop-ins, and walks. If you would like a reference, I have many wonderful clients that I'd be happy to introduce you to.

I was referred to Amanda by a co-worker. She was friendly, easy going, and easy to work with as she cared for our dog Sammy on overnights for a weekend. I'd definitely use Amanda's pet care services again in the future.

Amanda has taken care of my dogs on many occasions, and has done a great job every time! My only concern is that my dogs will end up liking her more than they like me!!

Amanda has animal sat for me for years. (Two dogs and a cat) I've taken long trips and never had to worry about my house or my animals. She would regularly take the dogs out for exercise and send pics of them to keep me up to date on how they were doing. I cannot recommend her enough as person and a house/animal sitter. She is very trust worthy and lovely to deal with... :)

Amanda is great with our high-energy rescue dog. She is clearly a natural with dogs! She sends us pictures and updates regularly when we are gone, and we always come home to a happy dog and a clean, well cared for house. She has been able to accommodate our needs on a short notice. I highly recommend Amanda and definitely plan to use her again when we travel.
