Pet care experience
I graduated from Bel Rea in 2013 and have actively worked as a Certified and Colorado Registered Veterinary Technician since...mostly emergency medicine. This allows me to recognize when your pet may not be feeling well/may be hurt and how to address it. I am very comfortable with many different types of oral medications and ways of giving them if your pet is nervous or stubborn with taking them. I am also very comfortable with subcutaneous injections and diabetic pets with required insulin daily. For the past 10yrs, I have also been pet sitting for neighbors, friends, co-workers, and clients from work. I am more than happy to go on lots of walks and have lots of play time as well!

I live in a cauldesac in a full sized house. I do have a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run, play, or just hang out and sun bathe! The main floor is on the first floor, therefore senior pets don't need to worry about stairs at all.

Information Amanda M. would like to know about your pet
As long as your dog is pet friendly and potty trained (if they are incontinent/have urinary isses - they are more than welcome:) I don't really have any restrictions otherwise! I'm a sucker for the senior pets but of course would be happy to sit/walk for any age!
A typical day
A typical day with me would involve lots of pets and snuggles! We would absolutley get out for plenty of walks and yard time! I have a wide variety of dog toys if your pet is one to enjoy them! We would watch animal planet or doggie movies before bed too:) And can't forget about photo shoots so you can see how much fun we are having!

Availability
I do work the grave shifts about 3 to 4 nights per week. What's a bonus of working in the field, is we all bring pets to work! So if you're not comfortable with your fur baby without a human in my house at night, then I would be more than happy to take him/her to work with me where we have a fenced yard and a big doctors office that they can hang out in and gets lots of attention!
