Pet care experience
I’m a huge animal lover, both cats and dogs alike. With my time as a dog and cat mom, as well as my time with my Rover friends, I have come to garner experience with all kinds of pets. I’m compassionate, flexible, affectionate, active, and detail oriented. I’m especially good with dogs and cats with anxiety, as I’m able to get them to warm up to me quickly. I love all my Rover friends, both big and small, sleepy and active, shy and friendly. Your pets are in good hands when they’re with me!

Amanda walks my boys weekly. They get anxious around strangers so she was so amazing to do a meet and greet first. They love her and she is so great with them. She’s flexible with the scheduling, always sends me photos and updates. She’s amazing!!
We are so grateful for Amanda!! Amanda made us feel at ease while we were away for a long weekend by taking care of our two kitties, Albie and Evie. Amanda sent us cute photos everyday they went to visit and we were so pleased to know that our babies were being well taken care of. Thanks again for everything!
Amanda was wonderful! We have an anxious dog and we ourselves were anxious with someone new meeting her and coming into our home. Amanda was super communicative, sent a lot of pictures, and made our minds feel at ease! We will definitely be using Amanda again.

Let me know if your dog has any medical issues, allergies, or temperament issues such as aggress towards strangers or dogs. I am willing to work with dogs who are rescues or generally have mood swings but I need to know ahead of time.
A typical day
In the past when I have watched friend’s or neighbor’s pets, I gauge their level of interest in playing outside, doing indoor enrichment, and go from there. I love playing “find it” with small kibble treats to promote mental stimulation in the event that outdoor play can’t occur (ie: weather), and outdoors I love to play frisbee, fetch, and go on scent runs/walks. I am also very loving and cuddly with pets who have the same needs. I’m always down to give lots and lots of belly rubs and head scratches.

Availability
I’m a graduate student at St. John’s and would be in classes from 5-9pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, but otherwise I have open availability to take care of any dog or cat in town!
