Always willing to work out deals/(especially if you have more than 1 pet!) and I offer more services than listed(i.e.- hiking, adventures, extended walks,etc) *** Hi! My names Amanda and I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 6 years but have now dabbled into the human side as a registered nurse. I work 3 shifts a week as a nurse but love to keep my animal living side present with pet sitting! Whether you have a puppy who needs to exert some energy on runs/hikes or an older pup who just needs company and fresh air- i'm here to help! I’m a firm believer in avoiding stressful situations like kenneling/boarding as I'm happy to stay overnight to ensure your pets well-being in the comfort of their own home. Any sort of medical conditions are welcomed as medications, injections, and specific medical monitoring are no problem at all! I love all dogs- size makes no difference to me and I can handle behavioral issues as well. I'm confident in emergent situations and can provide CPR/first aid to your pet if needed. Amanda was great with my cat! I wanted someone who would take care of her but yet give her the love and affection that I would giver her and she did just that! My cat also has a stomach bug and when things weren’t that great at the litter box she went the extra mile to clean it up! Would most definitely recommend to friends and will use again!
Amanda was terrific with Herman! She arrived as scheduled, gave us detailed reports and pictures, and took good care of Herman while we were away!
So thankful to Amanda for care given to my cat during my trip out of town! She was very thoughtful with noting her check-ins and care given. Highly recommend!

My apartment complex does have a fenced in dog park as well as plenty of more secluded areas to walk in West Ashley. If I’m staying in your home, I will mimic your pets routine as you see fit!

I've worked with dogs less then 1 lb and as big as 180lbs. Size does not matter! I'm familiar with common emergencies both petite and large dogs are more prone to and keep a keen eye on making sure your pet is well. I am confident in CPR and first aid and am knowledgeable of every hospital in surrounding areas, including emergency hospitals.
A typical day
I'm an avid explorer so depending on the area you live, I am more than happy to take your pup on 1 hour active walks around the area. Mental stimulation is key to a tired dog so i'm always up for trying to teach new tricks!

Availability
I work day shift 3 days a week that change weekly but am available all day the other 4. I can schedule myself to be able to be off 7 days (Wed-wed). I have the ability to make my own schedule so I can plan ahead if you need me- the sooner you let me know, the easier I can make my schedule to accommodate you!
