Former Senior Kennel Attendant

Pet care experience

I've always had a dog or cat in the house. All of high school I worked at 4 paws unleashed, which is a doggie daycare and boarding facitlitiy in the west des moines area. Which is where i learned to administure medication to animals. Ive worked with a foster as well and have spent plenty of time with puppies, senior dogs, and difficult dogs. I currently am a student at Iowa State and work for DoorDash. I have a very flexible schedule and will always love a break to play with a dog! I have a senior dog who loves puppies and small dogs, I am always willing to bring her along to play if you're okay with that. I love taking my dog on a walk or just spending time outside is also her favrotie but if you ahve a more energetic dog I am more than happy to play tug oof war or throw a ball around until they tire out!

I highly recommend Amanda. She is patient, gentle and very loving with all the dogs when she worked for me at the boarding/doggie daycare place I manage. She was hands down one of the best workers I had. Pays attention to details on feeding and medication and so loving to every single dog who ever walked in the door.
