My name is Amanda and I helped train multiple dogs growing up, as well as working with service animals visiting children in hospitals. I have a profound connection with dogs and love getting out in nature to explore! Hopefully your pup and I can have plenty of adventure together to ease how much they miss you ~ happy to send photo/video updates about their day or share about our activities while you were away. I truly want a dog of my own but can’t justify it given my affinity for travel, so joined Rover to foster connection with some amazing creatures and care for them as if they were my own! I promise you will be greatly pleased with the level of care and attention for your sweet baby. Thank you for entrusting me with their emotional and physical well-being!

Our usual sitter canceled a week before my out of country vacation. In stepped Amanda, and my Golden, Walter, could not have been in more capable, loving hands. Walter had a cold and Amanda dropped everything to take him to the vet two times. That’s dedication. Every step of the way, I felt Walter was cared for and loved. If I could give her more stars, I would! Book her today!
Words cannot express how grateful we are to Amanda for caring for our little 12 month old Miya! We had a last minute change in our travel plans and couldn’t take her with us on our 20 day trip. She has never been away from home overnight but Amanda’s personality won us over & we booked her immediately! The PupDates were the best part especially for us, the nervous parents! LOL!

Amanda is AMAZING! I seriously cannot recommend her enough to watch your fur baby. She was able to watch our dog, Cooper, on extremely short notice. At the time, he had hot spots which required ointment and an ear infection which required ear drops. We were extremely hesitant to leave him for our weekend trip but knew instantly after meeting Amanda that she would take great care of him. She helped administer his medications which helped him heal completely. Could not be more thankful for Amanda and her level of care and compassion!!

A typical day
I love to walk them a few times a day, typically avoid dog parks while watching other people's dogs but open to it if you know they acclimate well to the environment as well as come on command when time to go back on-leash.

I'm currently fully remote so the dog will be at home with me and let out all day! I typically aim for 2-3 walks a day depending on the heat, but if only 2 walks I try to tire them out and keep them busy!
