Pet care experience
Hi! My names Amanda, I have lots of great experience around loving pets. I had a lab/boarder collie mix who has recently passed, Molly. I now have a kitten named Flynn. I have worked in a pet supply store for three and half years. I've also worked for a dog boarding facility. I currently work as a Veterinary Technician at a Vet hospital. I dog sit for family & friends all the time. In my spare time I'd like to help you and your pets. I would take my own dog for hikes in the park and runs in the sand at the beach. Sometimes even just small walks and jogs around the neighborhoods. I have knowledge in pet nutrition and pet health. I am always looking out for the best for my pets and anyone else's. They deserve nothing but love.

I have known Amanda for over 15 years, I have had pets my entire life between cats and dogs and she has known every pet I have had. Before she had started working in a vets office she would make sure my dogs were walked if we were not home and the cats were fed. My older dog loved going on long walks and she would make sure he got to take them and was happy. Once she started working in a vets office she not only took care of the animals needs when we weren't home (walking them and feeding them) she took care of their medical needs from keeping us on track for their shots to their heartworm medicine and flea and tick medicines. She not only cared for my pets she is also a great dog owner of her own making sure pets are loved and cared for is the most important thing to Amanda and she does a great job.

A typical day
I think it’s important for pets to get a good amount of exercise and have some stimulation. Decent walks, some play time, can’t forget about all the petting and attention. Walks to the park are always a good time.

I work Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8am-6pm, Saturday 8am-2pm. I’m normally off Wednesday & Sundays, but sometimes I have doctor appointments on Wednesdays, not always.
