Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs between 10 and 20 pounds for years and I typically pet sit the dogs of my family members up to 50 pounds. One of those dogs are special needs and requires medication tablets regularly, which I have been able to administer. I also have in the past provided care to recently rescued and malnourished dogs, getting them healthy and then on to their forever home. I can and have provided update photos when boarding over several days so people could see that their dogs were happy and doing well
Reviews
Amanda was a great host of my Dalmatian. She communicated effectively and provided an abundant amount of pictures during his stay. I believe she even took better care of my dog than I do. I'll definitely use her again if our schedules allow it.
My dog showed up wagging her tail when picking her up! I really appreciate that Amanda was playing with my dog and keeping her happy. Thank you so much!
Amanda was amazing!! We had to book last minute as our initial plans fell through. I was really worried because they can be high maintenance and we had only adopted our one dog a few months ago. She sent us numerous updates showing that they were being loved and cared for, easing my worries. She went above and beyond, even having a fun bubble session with them. If we were to need someone in the area again we would certainly go to Amanda!
We had such a great experience and felt very at ease with Kona at Amanda’s. Would definitely recommend and use her care again!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and 20 pound Shih Tzu-poo. Dogs are allowed and encouraged to cuddle on the couch and are taken out regularly. My dog often goes to the dog park and is well socialized with dogs of all sizes. Open to large dogs but cannot provide a walk if they are a puller as I have back problems. Please be honest and disclose that.
