📍Based in Porter Sq, Cambridge! I have grown up with dogs and cats since I was born and thus am a 100% pet lover. I have cared for friends’ dogs and cats before and am very responsible when it comes to taking care of other’s pets, as I know first-hand how important they are as a huge part of one’s family. Amanda was excellent with Pistachio! It was such a huge relief knowing I had someone so responsible and kind checking in on him while I was away. She shared updates and photos each day and I know he enjoyed her company.
Amanda is dependable, reliable, observant and will be sure your pet is well taken care of while you are away. We enjoyed seeing photos of our dog during her visits, and she was careful to follow the instructions we left for food preparation, walking, etc.
Amanda has been a dogsitter for my dog Maisy for about a year. Maisy is head over heels for Amanda and is always super excited to see her, Amanda will send picture or video updates which I really appreciate! Amanda has proven herself an excellent sitter never forgetting to feed and administer medicine to Maisy, and is a great playmate and friend to Maisy who doesn't have any other dogs in the house. Amanda has been responsible and reliable during her time with us, never really missing a day except due to extraordinary circumstances. I would highly recommend Amanda as a dog sitter and have personally referred other friends to her when they need a sitter while out of town!
Amanda is an amazing loving person. Easily to get along with and very reliable. She was able to watch my dog for a couple weeks throughout the year while I was away on business. She kept in touch, gave me updates, and was able to take my dog outside for much needed activities. My dog still rejoices whenever he sees her. Amanda is kind and caring and anyone would be lucky to have her.

I always take the time to get to know a pet when i enter the home. It is their space, and I want them to feel comfortable with me in it. I am comfortable with any tasks: meals, walks, medications, play, general care, clean up, etc.

Let me know if your dog has any kind of routine, medications, allergies, or other needs I should be aware of. It is also helpful to know their typical daily routine (food, walks, etc) and if they are well-socialized.
A typical day
Walks, playing catch and/or soccer, running, letting them sniff all their hearts desires (there’s secret messages from other dogs in the smells!) and overall having a great time to get your pup outdoors. I am familiar with the parks in the area and love to make that a part of our visit.

I work part time in SF so I am available to provide care most of the time. I’m open to routine care or as needed, whatever best fits you and your pets needs.
