Pet care you can count on!
Pet care experience
When your animals board with me, they will get top notch care and compassion throughout their stay. My home is designed to accommodate all breeds, sizes, and need levels of animals. I have cared for puppies and seniors, dogs with mobility issues and injuries, special needs and medical requirements. I can do it all! At my home your dog will be able to feel at home. I only use crates for when I'm out of the house or during the night, otherwise your pet is free to roam and mingle as much as they please! This is currently my only job so I can give my undevided attention to making sure your pets are happy and comfortable every day. I also send regular updates and pictures so you can be sure your loved one is doing well!
Reviews
Amanda was quick to respond to our request for a meet and greet. She answered our booking request quickly and we really appreciated knowing this important caregiver request was scheduled. Our dog was a good fit. His stay was long at 6 days and Amanda assured us that he fit into their routine smoothly. She provided timely text and photos showing him at play with her dog and another weekend guest. Knowing my dog, the videos were typical of his favorite play - wrestling with dogs bigger that he is! We have every confidence that Amanda would handle any situation well for any dog in her care.
Amanda was absolutely wonderful with our little Purdy! She was so happy to be home and Amanda did a great job of keeping me updated!
I don’t even know where to start. My dog is anxious but if you play with her then she calms down. We have use rover for almost a year an we haven’t had any issues with my dog. We have only got good feedback about her. She got diarrhea because stress maybe she didn’t feel safe. She asked us to come pick up early. My dog always has her stomach medicine. She was lacking communication. She put her in the kennel even if she had poop on her. When we went to pick her up, my dog was in the kennel by herself. The sitter went to do errands and let her alone with poop in her tail. We got home and wash her 3 times. She was so thirsty
Amanda watched my pup for a night at her place. It was very convenient and a great experience!

I live in a large house with a big backyard. The yard is not currently fenced but we do plan on fencing it this summer. Dogs get taken outside to potty on leash every 1-4 hrs depending on age and needs. Animals are able to roam the house as they please unless I am out of the house or at night, then they will be expected to be in a crate while unsupervised. This is for their safety as well as the safety of my home. Animals have unlimited access to water and only have access to food/treats provided by owners. I have a very strict no "sharing" policy when it comes to food and treats. I'm also happy to follow feeding and medication schedules, do essential grooming tasks, and even keep training practices if applicable (with the exception of e-collar and prong collar training).

Information Amanda K. would like to know about your pet
ALL BREEDS WELCOME! I'd like to know about specific feeding routines and portions, medical issues that require special care, sensitive or painful areas or triggers of aggression, and most importantly, what makes them HAPPY! What toy does your dog ADORE, where is their "spot", and what is their favorite treat or place to go?
A typical day
While hanging out with me, a dog can enjoy car rides as I have seatbelts for almost all sizes of dogs. We can go to the park, the lake, the pet store, or a nearby field for some fun and exercise. I also love playing and teaching tricks as a busy mind is a happy mind for a dog. I can give baths and groom with little to no fuss as I make it fun for the both of us; toys and belly rubs and treats usually do the trick along with a positive attitude. I also have some pets of my own (3 cats and a dog) that would LOVE a play date!
