Pet care experience
I have had pets since I was young. I also have training in the veterinary field. Right now we have a two year old Great Pyrenees who acts like a giant puppy and just wants to play with everyone. He will give space to dogs who want it. Why I love dog sitting I have been an animal lover since I was a child. You could count on me to bring the scared stray home and to make it feel comfortable. I went to school to be a Vet Tech and to help as many animals as I could. About my yard We have a fenced in back yard on a normal city lot. There are dogs on every side of us too, all of which are very friendly. My experience administering medication Sure thing! Let me know what is needed and I can do it.

Amanda was great with our two dogs and very flexible with scheduling our meet & greet before their first stay. I loved getting pictures and updates on how my fur babies were doing!
I was nervous about using a sitter, bringing a dog to a strangers home was nerve racking. I first did a meet and greet with her and felt absolutely comfortable with leaving my puppy there at a later date. The night I did leave her, I was sent a picture of my puppy which made me feel more at easy and happy. The next day when I went to pick her up my puppy greeted me but then went back to playing, there was no racing out the door. So I know she was comfortable there and happy. I will be using Amanda's services again and would highly recommend.

I have a fenced yard and a giant breed dog who loves to play. He is very submissive to other dogs though and will lay down to give the other dog the advantage. All animals are allowed on furniture unless I am told differently. We also have an older child and my brother living with us. Both who love nothing more than to give a little extra attention to our visiting dogs.

No breed preferences. I like to know their routine. What time do they eat. When do you let them have treats. What kind and how many. To make an animal feel safe, its good to keep them to their routine.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We have the beach just a few blocks from us. There is also a nice Marsh walk that we have enjoyed that has a long boarded path we take. We also have the many city streets of Kewaunee. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Any where they want! If you have a crate you keep them in, then please bring it. We have no concerns about where the animals go in our house. Normally my kids try to convince the staying dog to sleep with them. Time I'll spend with your dog I do work full-time hours and three blocks away. I am lucky enough to be able to come home on my break and take care of the dogs. My husband is home in the morning and my children are home in the afternoons. We all work together to give our visiting friends a safe, loving time.

My husband and I work third shift and sleep mostly during the day. We change our schedule during the weekends to a normal schedule. This means walks in the mornings or later at night when it is cooler outside.
