Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog my entire life, and I’m used to all sorts of personalities. Over the last 20 years I’ve raised an 80lb lab mix, and 35lb rescue. Me and my little guy love adventure, so you can usually find us at Zilker or somewhere on the greenbelt. If your baby is on the mellow side, we also enjoy a good Netflix binge. I work from home, so they’ll never feel alone. Whatever the age and whatever the energy level, your fur baby is going to feel like they’re on a great vacation.

There are a few people that I trust my overly hyper dog with! Amanda has the perfect temperament to keep my dog calm but entertained. I know that when my pup is in Amanda’s space, he’s well taken care of. She has also helped out with my diabetic cat a few times! I really appreciate all that she offers as an animal caregiver.
Amanda is an excellent choice for all your dog walking and sitting needs! She treated my two dogs (lab mix and golden retriever) like they were her own. Frequent walks and/or time outside was always on the menu for the day. She was mindful of our stricter mealtimes since our one baby gets medications at specific times with his food. She sent several updates and pictures throughout the day to let us know that they were happy and doing well. If your dog gets along with others and loves to play, she will bring along her own dog Ryder to participate in the fun (with permission of course) which will wear your furry friend out! Amanda is not only good with dogs (and other animals I am sure) but she treated our house with the utmost respect. We would have never known that she stayed overnight for 3 nights since she left our place looking just as clean as we left it!
Amanda was great! She was able to watch my dog for long periods of time when I would go back home to Pennsylvania to visit family, and also was available if I needed to go into the office a day or two during the week! I definitely get nervous leaving my dog in general, especially for long periods of time, but she was super understanding and checked in with me daily on how my dog was doing! It made me feel more at peace knowing I can travel and my dog would be in great hands! I would definitely recommend her to friends and family!!

Let me know if your pet as any allergies, medical conditions, fears/anxieties, or any other quirks. I do require a meet and greet to make sure they jive with my pup. He’s super sweet and friendly, so there shouldn’t be any issues.
A typical day
We typically walk to Zilker after work (takes about 30 minutes). My complex has a dog park, so they can get some outdoor time during my lunch break as well.

Availability
I currently work from home during the week, so I’m home for most of the day. On the weekends we enjoy the outdoors, and love a good hike or sun bathe at Zilker.
