Pet care experience
Amanda is a 7th grade science teacher and Joey is a Chicago stagehand (IATSE Local 2). We have a young black lab named Bo, and an 9 year old tabby named Toby. Our home is primarily one-floor and we have a fenced-in yard. On a daily basis we take pets on walks and work with them to learn and/or practice basic commands. Bo is very playful and loves to play tug, chase, and wrestle with other dogs. You can rest assured that your pet will be highly exercised. We are capable of providing medication, and we always send lots of adorable picture and video updates. We would be delighted to host your pet whenever you might need it. Located in Palatine.

Amanda and Joseph did a great job looking after Mylo. We received lots of updates and I think Mylo had a great time with their dog, Bo.
Amanda and Joseph were amazing to work with. They were responsive and really made me feel comfortable leaving Marley will them. They even sent picture updates throughout the time that had her! I would definitely recommend Amanda and Joseph!! Marley had the best time!
Amanda and Joseph were wonderful with Walter! It was his first time ever away from us and the first night he cried a bit. Amanda sweetly slept on the couch to put him at ease. Wow ❤️. Walter received walks and loved playing with Bo. We received reassuring and honest updates via text, pics and videos. Awesome folks, highly recommend.

We only board one dog at a time. We have a fenced-in yard. Our neighborhood is quiet, with a walking path (Palatine Trail) and many sidewalks. We have an extra crate, bowls, leashes, poop bags, balls, treats and bones. We can partition the house with our three baby gates If your dog needs a break from Bo. Our animals are healthy and are routinely vaccinated and examinated by the vet. Our reviews are 100% positive and we have many return clients.

When he/she eats does he/she "graze?" How will your dog handle 80 pounds of spastic lab puppy energy (Bo)? When you leave your dog alone, where does he/she go (crate, pen, gated somewhere, free roaming, etc.)?
A typical day
Playing with our black lab puppy, Bo! Lots of walks and running around in the yard. Practicing tricks and commands. Playing with toys, taking naps, getting pets.

Amanda is on summer break from teaching and is widely available to have fun with your doggo! During the winter months, Joey is home regularly during the day.
