Amanda and John watched our dog for a week in their home while we were away on vacation. I was very happy to get every-other-day check-ins of what his day was like, and at times, he terrorized them with naughty habits that I never see from him. The downsides of leaving my dog with them were (1) he had an allergy flair-up and I wasn't made aware; I only found out when I picked him up and he had hot spots, terrible redness and itching that took weeks to cure. He's a grain-free dog with flea allergies. I sent him with his grain-free food and he always wears a Soresto collar so I'm not sure what happened to cause such an attack. (2) I had the expectation the my dog would get a lot of playtime, exercise and maybe even get to go in the water, but the couple works long hours and I was only made aware of one walk outing. Based on the experience, I won't be taking my dog back.
