Pet care experience
I’ve always been surrounded by pets and am passionate about providing a loving home for them. My dogs are rescues who I took in while I was living in China. While overseas, I volunteered with animal shelters and rescuers to provide care including bathing, giving medications and socializing dogs. I will love your dogs just like they are my own! (And considering my two dogs are foster fails… don’t blame me if I want to keep them 😂)

Amanda and Shea were fantastic to work with. Our schedule kept changing, as it was a memorial service and we were coming up to Summerland from the Seattle area. They were so accommodating and took such good care of Ruby. We can't wait to use them again, next time we're up in the area!
It was lovely to take our kids on a Hockey Tournament not a weekend without having to worry about our future children. Our ‘spirited’ Frenchie can be a handful but it seems like he had fun and all went well. We will absolutely use Amanda and Shea again if the’ll have our two dogs again.
I was panicking to find a last minute booking for my dog Jax and Amanda exceeded my expectations! Her and her rescue pups took Jax in like their own, and he came home tuckered and happy. Thank you Amanda for caring for Jax on such short notice!

Let me know if your dogs have any special feeding needs or any behaviours relating to socializing with other dogs. It would also be helpful to know if your dog has any digging or chewing behaviours so I can prepare my home for that!
A typical day
We have a large yard for lounging or playing chase and fetch. Typically we walk dogs at the large outdoor sports complex which is about 5 minutes away. The walking track is a 1.2 km loop and there is also a great dog park there that we frequent !

Availability
I work full time (M-F) from September until June but still make time during my lunch breaks to come home and hang with my dogs. Living near a dog park, I’ll have lots of time to play and exercise with your pup!
