I’ve been caring for animals for over 20 years and have several years of professional experience in dog training and pet care. I’ve worked with dogs of all breeds, ages and temperaments, including puppies, seniors, high-energy dogs, shy or anxious dogs, and dogs with behavioral or reactivity concerns. I offer personalized dog walks, adventure style walks, drop-in visits and overnight care in your home. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, medications, walks, playtime and enrichment. My professional training background also gives me experience safely handling dogs who may need a little more patience, structure or understanding than the average pet sitter can provide. Most importantly, I treat every animal in my care as an individual. I’m dependable, communicative and genuinely love what I do. I’m also a proud Husky mom to Winter & Koda and cat mom to Cat, Mooshka & Rumpus.

Amanda took great care of our pup while we had to travel unexpectedly for several weeks. She texted daily with reports and videos and we could see that our pup was extremely happy and having a lot of fun . I highly recommend Amanda !

I’ve boarded my 1.5 year old dog Nori with Amanda twice and had a great experience both times! Nori also was so excited to go back, I knew she had a great time. Schedule
Pet care is my full-time profession, so my schedule is built around the animals in my care. I offer flexible availability for dog walks, drop-in visits and overnight house sitting, including weekdays and weekends. Because this is what I do professionally, I’m able to give each pet reliable, attentive care while maintaining their normal routine.

- Please tell me about your pet’s normal routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications or special needs, as well as anything that may make them nervous or uncomfortable. For dogs, I’d also like to know about leash behavior, reactivity, resource guarding, escape tendencies and their history with other animals and people. There’s no judgment—I have extensive experience with behavioral challenges. The more I know beforehand, the safer and more comfortable I can make their care.
