As of April 15, 2021 I am fully vaccinated against Covid-19, so I am opening up my Rover account again! Of course I will still take every precaution necessary, including sanitization and wearing a mask. I am a previously employed pet groomer and pet care worker looking to become a permanent independent pet caregiver. I have done some work through Rover for a couple years, and I have over fifteen years cumulative experience working with pets of all kinds (dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, small mammals), and wildlife. I have several pets myself, and am comfortable with any breed of dog or cat, and am comfortable with pet grooming, administering medications, feeding and walking pets, scooping litter boxes, cleaning cages and providing any other specific care the pet may need. I love animals, and I can't wait to work for you! Pet care retail work, overnight dog kennel and daycare work, pet grooming experience, wildlife rehabilitation experience. I have loved dogs, and all animals, all my life! Unfortunately, my parents did not feel the same, and I wasn't able to keep pets of my own until I was over 18 and moved out of the house - those were dark, dogless days! But they are behind me now, and I have owned and loved dogs ever since! Currently I own two lovable pooches: Sheila, a beautiful Great Pyrenees mix, and Freddy, a young disabled Great Pyrenees male. Not only do I love dogs, I've been working with them for a very long time! I have worked for both Petco and Petsmart, an overnight doggy and kitty daycare kennel, and pet grooming salons as well. I even have experience in exotic bird care and wildlife rehabilitation! There isn't an animal out there, furry, scaley, or feathery, that I don't love to care for. I have administered liquid and pill medications orally several times both to my own dogs, and to dogs in kennel care, and my volunteer time in wildlife rehabilitation has given me experience with IM injections, and sub-cutaneous injections as well.
