Amanda was great! She stayed at our house and watched our two dogs. One requires medication 3 times a day. She was communicative and sent photos. She was very kind with my daughter who was nervous about leaving her puppy. The house was clean when we got home and the dogs were happy. Highly recommend!

I would not recommend Amanda, especially if you have cats. A major problem I had was that she didn’t do the litter boxes once. She watched them Tuesday - Sunday, and when I got home, all four boxes were filled with stool and pee. When I asked her when she last did the boxes, she lied and said Saturday. I have three cats and four boxes, it’s physically impossible for all four to be that packed after one day. The main problem I had with her was her lack of communication. She typically only gave updates if I asked, which was contrary to how she presented herself during the meet and greet. After I came home I learned of some incidents that happened with my pets while she was watching them, which she didn’t tell me at the time. One incident: my food motivated/very talkative kitten was completely uninterested in food when I got home. I asked her about it and she said he knocked over the food bin, ate some, and he was “quiet after that.” Abnormal behavior that wasn’t reported, and honestly shocking that she didn’t think it was a big deal, or that something was wrong with him since he all of a sudden stopped talking. Not only that, but my 5 lb kitten had a hard stomach the size of a softball, and I ended up taking him to the vet to make sure he was okay. He’s fine, just overate because she wasn’t locking the food bins. Clearly, she wasn’t paying much attention to the cats at all. The reason I decided to write this review is because I had to take another one of my cats to the vet. He’s been throwing up consistently ever since Amanda watched him. He’s also shown little interest in food, or throwing up after he eats. I found out today that his disinterest in food (i.e. not finishing his meal) started while she was watching them. Another abnormal behavior that wasn’t reported to me right away. The vet kept my cat for observation, and he was x-rayed. Sure enough, he has an obstruction in his intestines. I don't know what it is but the vet told me that it’s been slowly working its way through his system. He should be fine in a day or two. Overall, it’s unnerving to have a stranger stay in your house to watch your pets. Amanda was not as observant as she should’ve been, which resulted in two of my cats needing medical attention. Thank goodness they’re both okay, but something worse could’ve happened, and with everything I explained above, I wouldn’t trust her with your pets.
