Pet care experience
We are major dog lovers! I am happy to watch your pup in the home that I share with my husband (Jordan). Although Jess (my sister) and I no longer live together, she is close by and has a flexible schedule that will allow us to give your dog lots of love, attention and walks/trips to the dog park. We do not have any dogs of our own (yet), so all the more reason we will enjoy having your little buddy for a stay! About my yard We have a small fenced yard, and live blocks away from two different dog parks. We have a great, dog friendly neighborhood. Our parents live in the suburbs and have a large yard and BEAUTIFUL marsh blocks from them. If your pup is with us for an extended period of time, they will likely take a trip out there and have the most fun of their entire little puppy life. We also love trips to the dog beach so let us know if your pup is ok to go there! My experience administering medication Yes. We have experience caring for a little guy with some eyes issues and he requires 4 drops daily. I am also a dentist who works with children, so my daily life is filled with administering medication to moving targets. :)

My dog absolutely loved spending thanksgiving with Amanda. She was available very short notice when my dog sitter cancelled the day before I was going out of town. She sent me tons of pictures and updates on how my dog was which made me feel like he was very safe and happy for the week! Will definitely be booking with her again.
Amanda was very flexible with pick-up and drop off, and she sent several photo/video updates of our pooch while we were out of town. In addition, she was very friendly and I think she is as trustworthy as it gets when it comes to entrusting your dog with a stranger! Our dog really seemed to like her and her fiancé!
Amanda was so great with our new puppy and so easy to work with! She accommodated our last minute request and has a great home for boarding - lots of open space inside and out! Would rebook with her in a heartbeat!
Amanda and her sister are such great sitters! I got a ton of pictures and videos while on vacation and it was clear in every one of them that my dog was enjoying herself and loved being with them. My dog even tried pulling me to to Amanda's gate on a walk after I got back.

Information Amanda H. would like to know about your pet
We like to know if your pup has any health issues, dietary restrictions, and how they get along with other pups and people. We also want to be sure your dog has been alright being away from you in the past. We love all breeds and love the chance to get familiar with new ones. We also need to know if your pup is a big fan of barking. We live in an apartment and want to be respectful of our neighbors. If your dog spends a good part of the day barking, we probably wouldn't be the best fit for you! Drop off is anytime after 2pm, pick-up is before 8pm, but we can be flexible.
A typical day
Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever you are the most comfortable. We are happy to abide by any crate or furniture rules you have. We also allow pets on the beds or furniture, if that works for you. HOWEVER..if your dog is allowed on furniture, we insist that they come for their stay freshly groomed. If your dog shows up filthy or with nails long enough to ruin our furniture/injure us we will be bringing them to a groomers immediately and charging $150 (in addition to the groomer's fee) for our inconvenience. Time I'll spend with your dog Jess and I strive to spend as much time as we can with your little buddy! We work hard and try to arrange our schedules so your dog will not be alone for longer than 4-5 hours at a time.
