Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Amanda! I have always had some sort of animal growing up as a child, and my love for them has grown deeply into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals in general. My experience and passion for animal care stems from growing up on a farm in Oregon raising animals from birth. I have experience raising/ caring for horses, dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, cows, lambs, pigs, lizards, bunnies, turtles, guinea pigs and so much more! My husband and I own two very sweet female rescue doggos from Hawaii who we adore so very much. We also own 10 hens and one spicy rooster. We own a cabin on 2.5 acres nestled in the heart of Sunapee, NH. I have a background in Veterinary care and have managed our animals medication and various vet associated visits for years. I am extremely patient and have a loving and kind personality towards others and to each and every animal. I also include free pet bathing apart of my services ❤️

Amanda was amazing. She kept the dogs well fed, and exercised. She showed them a lot of love and they looked back at her as we left. She sent us videos and pictures which brought us comfort. It made our vacation more enjoyable knowing that we could trust her. We will be using her again for sure.
Our puppy had a great time staying with Amanda. Very prompt and responsive. Great communication while we were gone. Felt safe leaving our little guy in her care. A real pet lover. Will certainly be requesting her services in the future. A+!

Our yard is currently unfenced, but we are working towards re-fencing it. We have the capability of keeping your pets completely secluded from our animals or if they do well with ours we are happy to provide frequent combined outdoor/ indoor time with our dogs.

My only concern is if they are friendly with people and other dogs and doesn't have any violent history. I would like to know if they have any medical issues that I should be aware of as well. I don't have any breed preferences, I think each and every breed is unique in their own special way.
A typical day
I am an avid runner and have been running with my dogs for over 6 years. We love to go hiking and explore new trails all the time. If your pet requires more activity than most, you are in good hands!

Availability
I currently work Per-diem at as a nursing assistant and farm assistant. My husband and I work opposite schedules, and there is very little time in the day when our home and animals are alone. I have a very flexible schedule and work only minutes from home, this allows me to provide care to my animals if needed during my working hours.
