Leash tugging, barking at passersby, sudden squirrel chasing, etc. • How do they react to car rides? Would you be comfortable with me taking them on car rides? • How do they react to dog parks? How to they react to waterfronts? Other public spaces? Can they swim? • What are their normal playtime behaviors? Example: Gus used to growl aggressively when playing tug-of-war, but it was an obvious form of play because he always wagged his tail, never bit, and would be disappointed when you stopped. • What are their favorite toys or games? • When are treats expected? After a certain task or time of day? • What is their grooming routine? Regular brushing, teeth cleaning? • Are there any medications or allergies I should be aware of? I will do my best to stick to your pets current routine. If they have a favorite place to walk, I will go there. If they have a specific play style, I can adapt to it. Your preferences for how your pet is cared for are most important.
