Pet care experience
I’ve worked with animals since I was 14 years old. My first job was in a pet food store. Since then, I’ve worked in my family’s dog rescue, and worked as a receptionist/ assistant in veterinary hospitals for 10 years. During this time, I also did a ton of pet sitting for my veterinary clients. I took some time off when I had my kids, but I’m ready to get back to work. Animals are my passion, and combined with my dedication to fitness, this is the perfect place for me. I look forward to working with you!

Amanda is Amazing!!! My doggies Looove her! She was super communicative, very affectionate with my doggos and really has a great instinct for dogs. I will absolutely book her again! She was truly a lifesaver, I never worried about my dogs while we were away. Five enormous stars!!!
Amanda is truly fantastic with dogs. Her energy and demeaner is very balanced. She is great with energetic happy dogs and fearful/reactive dogs alike. I have entrusted her several times with my loyal companions and have always felt a sense of relief when she is there for them. With her past vet tech experience, Amanda understands canine body language and veterinary medical knowledge. Any dog that has an encounter with Amanda is truly one lucky pup!

Amanda is the BEST!!! She is a dog owner herself and loves dogs! She is such a wonderful friendly person and very easy to communicate with. She is always on time and loves to spend time with the dogs! She has always had dogs in her life and has experience with all types of dogs at all ages! She had a long and career at a vet clinic where she loved helping all sorts of animals. She has also done many house/pet sitting jobs and everyone always felt comfortable with her in their home. I trust her and would hire her again and again!

I will always treat your animals as if they are my own. Their safety and comfort is my number one priority. I’m willing to work with pet owners and discuss their own comfort levels as well. Have a dog that needs to be off leash to RUN? Great! Feel more comfortable with a leashed walk around the neighborhood? No problem! I have a 7 year old beagle mix named Shelby who would love to be your dog’s friend if you’d like, as well. I also love working with cats. Happy to make sure they’re cared for, litter box is clean and they’re happy as well.

A typical day
A tired dog is a happy dog! I’m an active person and I love to watch your animals having fun. If they’re having fun, I’m having fun! We’ll play ball, go on walks, run, and cuddle.

Availability
I’m available all day on most weekends. This is my only job! Weekdays will be around 8:30-2. These are my kid’s school hours. I’m flexible on these hours depending if you’re comfortable with me bringing my kids with me to your pet. 😊
