Hello, my name is Amanda. I got a husky puppy when I was 19. 3 dogs and 2 cats later, I feel like I have been through it all; chewed shoes and cords, potty accidents, and chasing dogs down when they get off leash. I live in the New North End in Burlington, and genuinely enjoying going on doggie adventures or hanging with some kitties. Your dog will love long walks on the Burlington bike path, ending at the dog park. Or maybe we’ll take a ride out to Ethan Allen Homestead and walk in the woods. I work part time, so have a versatile schedule! I love a good dog pile, and have no problem with animals on my furniture. I’m more of a laid back person, so if this sounds like something your dog would enjoy, please get a hold of me!

Amanda was great! She sent us a bunch of pictures of Bowie while we were away. We felt confident knowing she had a bunch of experience working with other dogs.
Amanda was amazing. She was very responsive and communicative. Most importantly she took excellent care of my senior pup. I was able to relax on my trip knowing that my old pup was in Amanda's care. I can't thank her enough for caring for and loving my dog while I was away.
Amanda was great with Lu! She was super communicative, sent photos, and played a lot of fetch with him. I’d definitely leave Lu with her again!

I have a small gated patio, with a large grass and tree filled courtyard in the back. I'm along the bike path and 5 minute walk to Starr Farm dog park! I currently have 2 cats in the house, but they can easily be closed into their own room. I have my own kennel if needed

I have the most experience with 50+ lb huskies, but I grew up with a Chihuahua, so really I can handle most behaviors. I just need to be aware of any aggressions or fears your dog has
A typical day
I have a lot of trees behind my house that I'm sure every dog would like to explore. I'm minutes from the bike path, dog park, and beaches. I also enjoy dog walks at Red Rocks and Ethan Allen Homestead, but honestly just long easy walks anywhere will do just fine

Availability
I am currently looking for a more laid back way to make income, and figure spending time with animals and getting outdoors is just the thing for me. I am gone for up to 6 hours on work days, so can't guarantee potty breaks shorter than that.
