Pet care experience
I provide loving and thoughtful care to pets of all kinds. I have a cat, a bearded dragon, and a playful dog of my own who loves to play and would love to get to know your pets! I’m available each morning until 8:00 and I get home each night around 4:30. I’m able to go home during lunch and breaks to walk your pet if needed, let them outside, and make sure they’re happy. I live in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for long walks. My mother works for a veterinarian and has 10+ years experience working with all kinds of animals. If emergency care is needed, we know what to do. I’ve cared for young dogs, old dogs, and dogs in-between. All dogs are welcome!
Reviews
Amanda is a dog person through and through. Having grown up with dogs, she is thoroughly knowledgeable of dog care essentials. She's a capable and loving caretaker, experienced with dogs of all sizes and demeanors.
Amanda took very good care of my dogs multiple times when my husband and I would go away for the weekend. It can be difficult since my dog Sherman takes multiple medications but she handled it well.
Amanda is very caring about animals. She has pets of her own and loves them all very much and makes sure they are taken care of.

All breeds are welcome, but dogs must be willing to get along with other pets. Friendly dogs are preffered, but if your dog likes to be alone, they can have their own space 24/7 while in my care.
A typical day
I live in the suburbs of Redford right by a large valley; lots of places to walk/run and explore. Across the street from me is a middle school baseball field where leashed dogs are allowed to run around and play fetch. I’m a master at tug-of-war, but I also give great belly rubs. If needed, a bath can be given if things get too messy.
