Hi furry(and not so furry) friends!
Pet care experience
I have been dog sitting for the last 3-4 years. I have two of my own dogs—Sasha, a rescue Ausie/Cattle Dog/Akita mix, and a Husky named Keera. Sasha suffers from anxiety and my heart really goes out to those furry friends that just need extra TLC and patience. This is partially why I enjoy house sitting in particular. I want my furry friends to feel safe in their own environment and keep the new and different to a minimum so they are as relaxed as possible. Also if need be, I am capable of administering oral medication. Although I'm not a trainer, I am also willing to help with basic commands and to reinforce whatever you have been working on already. Here are just a few more things I love to do: play, walk, brush and bathe as well as the normal day to day and basic needs of food, water, potty breaks and pick up/clean up. Let me know if there is more that you need though. I'm always happy to help. I look forward to hanging out with your furry friends!

I can't thank Amanda enough for taking such good care of my dog and apartment for 10 days! Amanda house- and dog-sat for us for over a week while we were on the other side of the country. That shows we trust her implicitly. Our dog has a sensitive nature and becomes depressed when we are away and won't eat, which is a concern when we are away for very long. Amanda soon had her feeling loved and comfortable enough to eat regularly! Amanda shares her home with a dog of her own and her aunt's dog, so she has a lot of first-hand experience caring for dogs alone or together. Amanda is a young lady of integrity, she holds to her commitments, and she has good judgment in handling the circumstances of life. I heartily recommend her as a doggy care giver!

I’m currently working part-time during the week. My job is very flexible so I am able to work remotely most of the time which means more time I can spend with your furry friends! *Currently, my weekends are full through October 15th.*
