I have in the past managed a dog walking company in Philadelphia for about 2 years. (PhilaPets) I was a walker who then became a manager for scheduling as well as interviewing new pets and their owners. I also have two dogs of my own who are very different. One is an active pitbull mix and the other is an attention seeking bichon.

Let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should account for. If there’s a certain walking route or park they like to go to please share. If there’s a dog in the neighborhood they don’t get along with please share.
A typical day
I like to wake up early with my own pup and go for a morning walk to get the blood pumping and to see the sunrise. If we can stay outside throughout the day playing catch and relaxing in the sun, then I’d say that’s a pretty good day. There is a nice pond by my house with a walking path that’s always nice for some exercise. But if your dog is a couch potato then I can readjust my energy levels.

Availability
I do work a full time job, but typically have off a couple days during the week. Which is perfect for those pet owners who have a more weekday schedule and need some help with their pet’s care. As I can stop by to let your dog out for a walk, potty break and give them playtime.
