I got my first family dog at 9 years old and begin taking care of her fully around 12 years of age. I cared for her until leaving for school in which the care was taken over by my mom and in which my love for dogs was so great I decided to get another of my own. Going on to take care of a large breed 8 month old puppy vs small breed puppy was a challenge on its own but I can say after almost 6 years later, it’s the been the most rewarding decision yet! I taken care of him independently while also caring for other family and friend animals throughout the years as well.
